Our story

It all began with one simple truth: no animal should ever be afraid, hungry or cold. One day, a single encounter set everything in motion — a trembling dog, a lost kitten, a look that was simply asking for help. From that moment on, we could no longer look away.

Our shelter was born from that promise: to protect those who have no one left.

A simple mission — and a huge one

Every week, we take in dogs and cats who have been abandoned, found, or left behind. Some arrive exhausted, others wary, sometimes injured. Our role is to give them back what matters most:

• safety — a place to settle

• care — to heal and regain strength

• kindness — to rebuild trust

• a family — for a responsible, lasting adoption

Here, we take our time. Because an animal who has known fear doesn’t need to be “rushed”: they need to be understood.

The shelter is a team… and a lot of heart

Behind every rescue, there’s a chain of solidarity: volunteers, foster families, partners and donors. There are early mornings, unexpected journeys, treatments, laundry, bottle-feeding, cuddles, sometimes tears… and above all, victories.

The greatest victory?
It’s the moment an animal who no longer dared to look at a human… starts wagging their tail, purring, asking for a stroke.
And a few days later, leaves the shelter for good.
