FAQ

How can I help the shelter?

You can help in several ways: make a donation, become a volunteer, offer to foster, adopt, or simply share our posts. Every gesture counts.

What is my donation used for in practical terms?

Your donation directly supports the day-to-day running of the shelter: veterinary care, food, litter, blankets, heating, medical treatments, and emergency rescues.

Can I make an open-ended donation (custom amount)?

Yes ❤️ You can choose the amount you wish. Even £5 can help (wet food, litter, or a small essential supply).

Are donations refundable?

Donations are generally non-refundable. In the event of an error (such as a duplicate payment or an incorrect amount), please contact us and we will help you find a solution.

How can I adopt an animal?

The adoption process takes place in several stages: an exchange with the team, one or more meetings, guidance and advice, followed by an adoption contract. Our priority is a responsible and long-term adoption.

Do you offer foster families?

Yes. Foster families are essential, especially for kittens, animals recovering from illness or injury, or those who need a calm environment. We support you throughout the process.

What should I do if I find a lost or injured animal?

Make sure you are safe first, then contact a vet, the local council, or a local animal charity. You can also get in touch with us: if we are able to help, we will guide you as best we can.

How can we be contacted?

You can contact us via the Contact page. For a quicker response, please include the subject (donation, adoption, fostering, emergency) and your town.
